MotoServer Testing Software:
We always recommend our customers to test our software and their data cable beforeordering our service.
Testing trial software takes a few minutes to complete and help you to avoid of non-compatible
Firmware and Data Cable issues after ordering. Also "Testing Instructions" will educate you
about phone unlocking before ordering prepaid credits to perform final unlocking operation.
Testing Software:
Simple User Manual for A series, C series, E series, V series and Mpx series motorola phones:
- If you have any issue during unlocking, please refer "Troubleshooting Notes" section below.
1- Please download latest server software from download page.

2- Install server software (Click here for detailed instructions)
We recommend you to choose full installation option to avoid driver issues.
If you have already installed Modem drivers (USB P2K), you may skip this step.
- However, We recommend you to use our drivers to eliminate possible difficulties.
(if you have installed another driver, you may remove other drivers and install our drivers).
3- Connect your USB cable or Hotsync Cable to your computer
4- Connect your USB Cable or Hotsync Cable to your Phone
- We recommend you to disconnect any other USB device during unlocking process
5- Remove SIM Card and Turn on your phone.
6- Make sure you have connected to the Internet.
Configure properly any firewall program you have running
- A firewall may block server connection
7- Enter following Login and Password for testing operation.
Username: 3gunlock
Password: gunlock
8- Press "Connect" button to establish connection between our server and your computer.
9- Select appropriate phone model from the phone model list
10- Please select "Check Unlock Possibility" command to check Data Cable, Computer
and Firmware Compatibility
Press "Start" Button to start testing operation
If you are able to obtain phone data (IMEI, Soft Version ..etc) on the Progress Report Window
and do not get "New firmware" prompt message, that means your phone firmware is compatible
and will work with our unlocking software
That is all! If you have passed above tests, your phone can be unlocked using our software.
* Operation List:
Following commands can be used for free using following username and password:
Username: 3gunlock
Password: gunlock
Check Unlock Possibility: Check to see if your phone can be unlocked using our software
(Use this command before ordering to make sure your phone firmware is supported).
Info Read: Obtain phone data from the phone. e.g. IMEI, SW version, User Code ..etc
These commands can be used with prepaid credits only:
Unlock Direct: Unlock Phone (Remove Subsidy Code, Special Code, Unlock Code).
Codes Read: Read Unlock Codes From Phone (Subsidy, Special or Unlock Code).
Chip BackUp: Get a back up of your phone firmware (phone software).
Soft Restore: Restore Back Up of phone firmware (if something goes wrong during unlocking).
Troubleshooting Notes:
- Always use full charged battery!!!
- Do not use or run any other program during unlocking / upgrading process
- Only TCP / IP connection is allowed to establish connection to our server
- If server does not respond or can not establish connection properly
please try again several times after several minutes!
- Our Software works under Win 2000 / XP / 2003 only! other platforms are not compatible.
- We recommend you to uninstall any other thirty party motorola software
(e.g. mobile phone tools, motorola flashing software, firmware upgrade software ..etc)
temporarily to avoid driver conflict issue.
